The gut renovation of this home features subtle and creative details achieved through an interesting mixture of wood, plaster, and stone. Overdoors are delicately molded with classical detailing. The Dining Room, Blue Study, and Family Room’s tray ceilings required exacting attention to alignment. The pool was rebuilt with elegant Coquina tile, and the back porch was transformed with painted plaster walls, a woven cane ceiling, and columns formed by creeping jasmine. The home has beautifully soft interiors with lots of detailing and outdoor spaces that embrace the artistic use of materials and color.
The Living Room’s fireplace surround matches the keystones over the door, reflected by an inset arch on the other side to create a relationship with the arched colonnades outside.
